Complete and Incomplete Coordinate Systems F.A.Q.

  1. Are your equations compatible with the Lorentz transformations?

Yes and no. Mathematically, my equations are in agreement with Lorentz's finding that the equations for the Y and Z axes differ from that of the X axis by a factor of SQRT(1-v^2/w^2).

Where I differ from Lorentz is in the interpretation of the equations. Lorentz uses the concept of time contraction to explain the apparent null result of the Michelson-Morley experiment. In my case, I suggest that the difference between the values for the X axis and the Y and Z axis are experimentally measurable. This finding appears to be supported by my analysis of the Michelson-Morley experiment, which returns an actual result of 30 km/s.
